Avantik UltraFin™ Paraffin

This tissue embedding medium with rapid penetration is suggested for large tissue or tissue that may present infiltration issues. Promotes excellent ribbon continuity to 2um; melts quickly at 56-67°C. The double-filtered paraffin contains plastic polymers and (0.8%) dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) for faster tissue penetration. Compare to Paraplast Plus™.

Avantik UltraFin I.E.™ Paraffin

The ultimate infiltration medium is recommended for general tissue embedding; no more icing blocks are needed. This paraffin reduces section wrinkles and gives difficult to section tissue more elasticity. The medium supports improved tissue infiltration and quality sections with minimal compression. Avantik Ultrafin EX™ Paraffin

Ultrafin-EX™ is recommended for lower temperature infiltration, which aids in the prevention of tissue distortion. This paraffin is ideal for working with heat-sensitive tissue. The medium's lower viscosity allows complete infiltration of dense tissue. Compare to Paraplast X-tra™.
